Last Wednesday's writing prompt was "The Meaning of..." My first response was The Meaning of "Writer's Block" because I just couldn't seem to get anywhere. I was lost....hmmm...lost? So here goes.
The Meaning of "Lost"
The roads are closed.
The signs are faded.
It's a black and moonless night.
My car is stuck.
I'm aggrivated.
Should I turn left, or right?
I lost my map,
And all direction.
I'm feeling so alone.
My cell phone just
Lost it's connection
How will I get back home?
I'm cold and tired.
And tired of crying
But I continue on.
Maybe the stars
Will hear me trying,
And shine until the dawn.
