AIR

Night
Air
Quiet
Stars shining
Alone with my thoughts
And praying for a little peace.

OVER (Day 24 - "a moment")

Just
One
Moment
Changed it all
Nothing was the same
Life as we knew it was over.

The only things
Inevitable

There's
No

The way you walked away from her.

Gone - Day 8

blind
spots
here, there,
everywhere
growing every day
until the sun no longer shines
first dim, then darker, until one day, all light is gone

Say It! Day 17: an "Express" poem

Yes?
No?
Say it
Just express
Don't suppress yourself
Go on, tell me that you love me
Or tell me if you don't, just let me know and I'll go...
Or maybe stay, if that's the way
You'd rather have it
Open up
Say it
Yes.
No.

Midnight - Day 2: a Bright Poem, or a Dark Poem

Bright
Sparkling
Firmament
Brooding midnight skies
I gaze and dream of paradise.

Relax

Stop
Breath
Relax
Be silent
Eyes closed, calm your mind.
Rest; tension will give way to peace.
Paradise awaits inside your imagination.

Let's Dream

Let's
Dream
About
What could be
If the universe
Revolved around the two of us.

Hide and Shine

Hide
Your
Feelings
Close your eyes
To the crowd that wants
To hurt you just to feel better
About themselves, ignore them, don't let them see you cry.
Just be yourself and keep dreaming
Push on toward the goal
Open up
Your heart
And
Shine.

April PAD: Robert Lee Brewer's prompt: a poem about "hiding".

Teddy

Day 27: a Tribute poem. I couldn't really think of anyone I wanted to write a "tribute" about, not that I don't know some awesome people, but many of their stories are not easy to put into words, There was one..(okay, not really a "person")  who meant a lot. So here is a fibonacci about a special bear.

Teddy

Her
Bear
Teddy
Everywhere
She went, he went too
Until she got the puppy.

Brown
Fur
Matted
Over years
Of hugs and kisses
Now cold and in the closet.

Can't Wait

Day 7: prompt - a "what won't wait poem. I started thinking about waiting. What do I hear "I can't wait" about most lately? Christmas. Some of us never really grow up when it comes to Christmas.

Can't Wait

Can't
Wait
Christmas
Is Coming
Children are counting
Every moment, every hour.

Each
Night
Dreaming
Santa Claus
Bringing them presents
And leaving them under the tree.

Why am I?

Eyes
Wide
Open,
Why am I
Awake at this hour
Lying alone in the darkness?

Without You

I've
Tried
But can't
Imagine
My life without you.

Day 21: A Permission Poem (Giving or Refusing)

Just a little Fibonucci inspired by a sign I saw in New York City. It said "Don't even think about parking here."

No Parking!

Hey!
You!
Yeah you!
Don't park there!
I really mean it,
And don't even think about it!
