I'm Still Here!
Dear Family,
Have you missed me? I'm still here, in my room.
True, I'm buried by blankets, covered in
facial tissue, and surrounded by cold
Medications. Just listen for the sounds
Of sniffles and coughing. Send the dog in
To find me, but don't worry, I'm still here.
By the way, you're on your own for dinner.
You wouldn't want me to spread my cooties,
Of course not. And make sure you clean your rooms.
I may have to take tomorrow off too.
