SPRING CLEANING
The clothing the kids out grew long ago
Gifts I should have returned to the store
Clocks and electronics that don't even work
Rubber-bands, paper clips, all in a drawer
Papers and drawings, crumpled and torn
Homework assignments from years before
Must let it go, throw away, give it all up!
But my real fear is, we'll just get some more.
