Day 8: a Tool

SCISSORS

I never ran with scissors
I held them by the blade
I put them where I found them
And that is where they stayed.

So why, now that I'm grown up
When I set them down a sec,
Do they seem to disappear,
Into thin air...
                     what the heck??
