Progress
Will books someday be obsolete; relics
From the past just like the Ford Model T?
Will kids stop learning to speak to others,
And electronic communication
Instead, replace human conversation?
Will travel become a thing of the past,
And virtual vacations, the new norm?
Will the technology meant to connect
Us all, be the tool that destroys contact
Leaving us desensitized and hollow
Shells? This may be the "progress" that's coming.
