Ballet

Ballet

Peeling sweat-soaked leotards
And tights off after practice;
The pink leather slippers tossed
To the side, everything ached.
I wouldn't have traded it
For anything in the world.

Caren E. Salas

"If ballet were easy, they'd call it football"... (from "The Game Plan")
