Fading Away...

Memories that once were
So clear, and so colorful,
Now seem fuzzy, and grey;
Little by little, drifting
Away, 'til they black.

Day 30 of April's Poem a Day Challenge: a "fading" poem

  1. I can't let the really clear, colorful memories fade. Usually I embellish the colors! Great poem.

  2. Well, the good news is that as writers we can write down as many of those memories as we can so they don't fade. Sadly, the older I get the harder it is sometimes to remember all the details. I better write faster I guess.

  3. Kudos on completing the challenge! Perfect ending, fading, whether it was conscious or not. Well done!
