I can't let the really clear, colorful memories fade. Usually I embellish the colors! Great poem.
Well, the good news is that as writers we can write down as many of those memories as we can so they don't fade. Sadly, the older I get the harder it is sometimes to remember all the details. I better write faster I guess.
